Adam Odessky has over 15 years experience in the fields of technology and speech recognition. Having worked at Oracle, Microsoft, and Orange Adam holds several provisional patents in the
areas of healthcare, security, telecommunications and augmented reality. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. A serial entrepreneur at heart, Adam can often be found touring San Francisco’s best coffee shops, laptop in tow.
MD/PhD + Co-Founder + Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Ivana Schnur holds a medical degree and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Ivana has studied pain management and quality of life at Harvard Medical School and Georgetown University. She transitioned to studying the therapeutic uses of film and digital media, and their impact on palliative care. She is excited to use her expertise in virtual reality to advance behavioral medicine and mental health. Ivana does some of her best thinking while biking, whether on the back roads of Silicon Valley or riding in the Tour de Cure.
Ryan Connolly has worked in the fields of software product development and cyber security for the last 15 years. Ryan brings to Sensely deep expertise in creating high-quality software and providing professional services for medium and large enterprise clients. Ryan has traveled widely in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East to speak at international conferences while advising ISPs, government organizations, and Fortune 500 firms on product development and incident response and security. Ryan graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and can be seen attempting to bike up San Francisco’s hills while pulling his kids.

Rashid Clark has over twenty years in the field of front-end programming. With a B.S. in cybernetics from the University of California Los Angeles and experience that includes software development in both laboratory and game studios. Along with programming, he has also worked professionally both as an animator and as an audio designer. His personal projects have combined these talents to create web cartoons, game-ified comics, and more.
Director of User Experience
Cathy Pearl has 15+ years of experience designing user interfaces. She has worked on everything from helicopter pilot simulators at NASA to a conversational iPad app that has Esquire Magazine's style columnist tell you what you should wear on a first date. During her time at Nuance and Microsoft, she designed voice user interfaces for banks, airlines, healthcare companies, and Ford SYNC. She has a B.S. in Cognitive Science from UCSD and an M.S. in Computer Science from Indiana University. In her free time she likes to play Pictionary and ponder how big data can help people find true love.
